Williamson Conservation and Sporting Club is offering the NRA Home Defense Pistol Course with a NRA certified instructor. The Course will be Saturday, May 10, 2008 and will be an all day event (10 hrs), commencing at 8:00 AM. Cost of the course will be $110 payable to WCSC. The class size will be limited to 6 students. For those wishing to sign up contact Rick Benton. All monies are to be paid by May 8, 2008.

• At least one handgun. Gun must be unloaded and cased.
• Eye and ear protection.
• Holster wearable on belt on strong side. Please do NOT bring small of the back, cross-draw, or shoulder holsters.
• At least 400 rounds of ammunition for the handgun. Ammunition is to be left in their car. No live ammo in the classroom.
• At least 3 magazines for semiautomatic pistols or at least 2 speedloaders for revolvers, together with magazine or speedloader pouch.
• Dummy rounds for your handgun.
• Half a dozen spent casings for your handgun, if semiautomatic.
• A mat suitable for kneeling.
• A notebook.

Students should also bring appropriate refreshments and lunch. Please bring appropriate attire for the weather conditions as shooting will be done outdoors and not from under cover.

Please note that this is an advanced course. NRA Basic Pistol or equivalent is required.
