Williamson Conservation and Sporting Club is offering the NRA Basic Pistol Course with a NRA certified instructor. The Course will be Saturday, April 12, 2008 and will be an all day event (10 hrs), commencing at 8:00 AM. For those without pistol permits there will be air or CO2 pistols available, although firing air pistols will not qualify for a NRA certificate. Cost of the course will be $75 payable to WCSC. The class size will be limited to 12 students. For those wishing to sign up contact Rick Benton. All monies are to be paid by April 1,2008.

• At least one handgun. Gun must be unloaded and cased.
• Eye and ear protection.
• A bench rest mount if you have one
• At least 100 rounds of ammunition for the handgun. Ammunition is to be left in their car. No live ammo in the classroom.
• Cleaning rod, brush, fluid, gun oil, jag or loop, patches, toothbrush, Q-tips, silicone cloth, and powder solvent.
• Any tools necessary to dis-assemble the firearm (e.g. a barrel bushing wrench for a 1911).
• Dummy rounds if they have them.
• Speed loaders for revolvers if they have them.
• A notebook.

Students should also bring appropriate refreshments and lunch. Please bring appropriate attire for the weather conditions as shooting will be done outdoors and not from under cover.
